My name is Haley Switzer, I am from the small town of Duncan on Vancouver Island. I have always had a love for makeup and story telling, whether I am doing bridal makeup, a creative character makeup or special effects gore. I love it all. 

 

I graduated the Fine Arts of Unlimited Makeup Program at John Casablancas Institute.  Attending JCI I learned everything from beauty, bridal, and character makeups, to airbrushing, special effects and prosthetics. I have also gone on to complete courses in lash extensions, lash lifts and tints, brow henna and brow laminations. I am devoted to continue on with my education, learning new techniques and keeping up to date with trends. I always aspire to grow and perfect my craft.

My goal is to make every session an enjoyable experience for both myself, and my client by creating a positive and relaxed atmosphere and using makeup to enhance natural beauty or bring to life a beautiful creation. I know how vulnerable it can be and I aim to make every person who sits in my chair feel comfortable and confident.

I provide my services from my home in the Cowichan Valley or I can come to you! I work all over Vancouver Island, and work regularly with an amazing photographer, Lesley Stedmon, in Nanaimo.

When I am not working you can generally find me baking, at the gym or bingeing a great Netflix series.

I have a three legged black cat Percy.
